Maybe web 2 exists, maybe it doesn’t, but there seems to be many ways of expressing it. I checked on google trends to see which term was most often used as a search term. There is a clear winner; ‘web 2.0′ took over from ‘web 2′ at the beginning of 2006 and continues to outstrip it and the others, all three of which remain in a flat line as web 2.0 soars.
If your interested, web 3.0 is barely visible on the graph.
All these expressions are well behind ‘wiki’. But are most people searching for wiki heading straight off to wikipedia?
